CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:
1) Business Development & Marketing Executive – India Practice
Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with Indian clients, law firms and key stakeholders within the legal community
- Identify new business opportunities and create a pipeline of potential clients and partnerships to expand the Firm’s clientele
- Prepare tailored proposals, pitches and marketing collaterals for new opportunities
- Collaborate with partners and BDM team to develop strategies for the India Practice
- Support the firm with BDM strategies to enhance the firm’s visibility in the Indian market
- Provide insights on trends and opportunities in the Indian market
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance firm’s visibility within the India legal market
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Law, Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience in Marketing and Business Development, ideally within the legal or professional services industry with a focus on India market
- Strong connections and a solid network within the Indian legal market
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and levels
2) HR Business Manager/Lead (People & Performance)
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Performance & Optimization
- Analyze resourcing, utilization, and capacity planning to identify inefficiencies and improve allocation of resources
- Collaborate with the Finance Director to set and track KPIs related to productivity and profitability
- Propose process improvements, technology tools, or structural changes to enhance efficiency without compromising quality
- Develop staffing models and support strategic capacity planning
Talent Acquisition & Strategy
- Identify, attract, and hire top-tier lawyers and business professionals through innovative and proactive sourcing strategies
- Build and maintain a high-quality talent pipeline aligned with the firm’s future needs
- Partner with team heads to define job scopes and success profiles before hiring
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring alignment with firm culture and performance standards
Strategic People Leadership
- Partner with team heads to identify performance gaps and propose targeted development or team structure changes
- Implement OKR or KPI based performance frameworks that promote clarity and accountability
- Support internal mobility, talent development and succession planning
Culture, Engagement & Communication
- Promote a high-performance, respectful, and collaborative work culture
- Drive engagement initiatives that align employees with the firm’s goals
- Support employee experience across onboarding, feedback channels, and recognition efforts
People Systems & Compliance
- Evaluate and implement people-related systems and tools (e.g. recruitment, performance tracking)
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and firm policies in partnership with Finance and external vendors where needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in a strategic HRBP, people strategy or legal operations role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of the dynamics of high-performing legal or business professional teams
- Analytical with high attention to detail and comfortable working with data and KPIs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in recruitment, performance management, and workflow improvement
- Hands-on, resourceful, and excited to build processes from the ground up.
- Proactive, progressive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRP, SHRM) is a bonus
3) Legal Secretary
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and screen legal queries by redirecting or taking forward such queries as appropriate
- Assist with drafting, formatting and assembling of documents
- Draft correspondence with clients and schedule meetings
- Manage file opening and closing procedures, including conflict checks
- Manage matter deadlines, monitor the progress of matters, and generate matter status reports
- Prepare invoices/bills, payment vouchers, claims, transfer of funds
- Send chaser and follow up with clients on outstanding invoices/bills
- Key in time entries into the firm’s practice management system
- Key in team’s client contacts into Outlook
- Prepare Business Development report
- Book flight/accomodation for partner’s business meetings/conferences
- Conduct searches (e.g. Cause Book and INLIS)
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Requirements
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in the Corporate practice
- A diploma in Law & Management or a degree in Law from a recognized institution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous and well organized
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Team player
