Our Insurance and Reinsurance Practice acts for a number of major regional and international insurers, and regularly advises on all classes of insurance including property, professional indemnity, CAR, business interruption, public liability, and financial lines. Our lawyers deal with all aspects of hull and cargo insurance, and is one of the largest dedicated marine insurance practices in Asia.

Our lawyers act in arbitrations and litigation dealing with reinsurance claims, and frequently advise on reinsurance issues such as coverage issues under facultative, treaty reinsurance contracts and the ceding of risk to reinsurers.

The insurance disputes our lawyers have been involved in include a multi-million dollar claim involving the professional negligence of surveyors in the offshore oil & gas industry, as well as claims under business interruption policies for losses arising from the 2004 tsunami in Asia.
