Head of Restructuring & Insolvency Meiyen Tan invited to speak at INSOL International seminars in Beijing and Shanghai
Head of Restructuring & Insolvency Meiyen Tan has been invited to speak at two seminars organised by INSOL International in China. The events will be held on 30 October in Beijing and 1 November in Shanghai.
Meiyen will share her in-depth knowledge on the restructuring landscape in Singapore, including recent cases and new regimes during the panel session titled “Regional Update”. Joining her are esteemed panel members comprising Scott Atkins, Fellow and Executive Director-at-Large of INSOL International and Deputy Chair & Head of Risk Advisory at Norton Rose Fulbright; Abizer Diwanji, Partner and National Leader of Financial Services of Ernst & Young; Chai Ridgers, Head of Restructuring in Asia of Harneys; and James Sprayregen, Restructuring Partner of Kirkland & Ellis. Andrew Koo, China Restructuring Leader of Ernst & Young is chairing both seminars.
In both sessions, developments in the Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore markets will be covered. Further highlights include a discussion on the challenges & resolutions of group insolvency and restructuring procedures; a year in review of China’s macroeconomic conditions and market trends; and a panel session on maximising value in portfolio disposals from a technical and commercial perspective.
